Cookie Policy

Last updated · June 15, 2026

This page lists the cookies and browser storage Vouchant uses. We use only what the service needs to work and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so no consent banner is required.

Strictly necessary

These are required to sign you in and keep the service secure. They cannot be turned off.

  • Session cookie — set when you sign in (via NextAuth) to keep you authenticated as you move between pages. Cleared when you sign out or it expires.
  • CSRF / callback cookies — short-lived cookies used during the sign-in flow to protect against cross-site request forgery.

Preferences (browser local storage)

These are stored in your browser’s local storage, not sent to our servers. They remember choices you make in the interface.

  • vouchant-theme — your dark/light theme choice.
  • vouchant:muted — whether skin-preview videos are muted.

Analytics & advertising

None. We do not load third-party analytics, advertising, or social tracking scripts.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Clearing the session cookie signs you out; clearing preferences resets them to their defaults. If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will add a consent mechanism first and update this page.
